OPERATION NEPTUNE ADVENTURE

Operation Neptune Adventure is a summer tour to take place 4 - 11 July of 2026.

#166 NLCC John A. Hamilton is allotted 2 spots for cadets to participate in this tour.

Cadets must be:

• a 2nd Year Cadet (LC/AC)
• will be staying with NL or going to Sea Cadets
• demonstrates Esprit De Corps
• has Leadership abilities with little to no Coaching or prompting
• Displays a high level confidence (no problem being away from parents)
• Is mature enough to represent your Corps, Alberta Division and Navy League of Canada appropriately

Parents/Guardians need to be aware as this trip is a significant undertaking, there are important financial and time commitments that families will need to consider. The total cost of the trip is $1800 per person, and parents will be expected to cover $900 of this cost, which can be paid in three installments over the next year. In addition, families are asked to participate in fundraising events over the course of the next 18 months to help support the remaining cost of the trip. Fundraising efforts are crucial to the success of this program, and your involvement will help ensure that the trip is a rewarding experience for all selected cadets.

If your cadet is selected to represent #166 NLCC John A. Hamilton and to ensure that both cadets and parents are fully informed about the trip and its requirements, Alberta division will be hosting an Information Session on February 15th at 7:00 PM. This session will provide an overview of the trip, details about the financial commitments, and an opportunity for you to ask any questions. The session will be held on MS Teams.
