Boat's Crew (Blacktip Division)
If your cadet wishes to join Boat's Crew and be part of the Blacktip Division, applications for proudly carrying the paddle and marching in Boat's Crew are now being accepted!
Marching Band (Requiem Division)
If your cadet actively plays an instrument, we would love to see them standing proud in Requiem Division! We welcome all cadets who have active skills in any of the following instruments: alto saxophone, bagpipes, bari saxophone, baritone horn, bass clarinet, bass drum, bassoon, bell lyre/glockenspiel, bugle, clarinet, cymbals, euphonium, french horn, oboe, piccolo, snare drum, tenor drum, tenor saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba. We believe in harnessing the transformative power of music to enrich the lives of our cadets.
NCO (Hammerhead Division)
The Ships Company has always been made up of Sailors and the Officers. For the smooth operation of any ship, the sailors have always outnumbered the officers as it takes many people to run the ship. As sailors gain experience, they typically became leaders of the operation of the ship even though they were not officers.
This is where we get the term NCO. An NCO is a Non-Commissioned Officer who is given specific responsibilities in the safe operation of the ship.
As we follow the traditions of the Navy, the Navy League of Canada program offers the cadets the opportunity to fill these important NCO roles.
Available NCO positions: Coxswain, Regulating Petty Officer, Gunner, Divisional Petty Officer, Quartermaster, Messenger, Signalmen/Colour Party, Boatswain, Petty Officer of the Day
