JOINING INSTRUCTIONS - POPPY CAMPAIGN - YYC

 Event Dates: 8 November 2026

Location: Calgary International Airport

Drop-Off and Pick-Up:

• Drop-Off Time: 08:45 AM
• Pick-Up Time: 04:00 PM

• Location: Arrival Level, Door 15

 Lunch: Cadets must bring their own lunch.

• Water Bottle: Ensure your cadet has a water bottle.

• Money (Optional): If you wish to send money for snacks or beverages, please send no more than $20.00. Place the cash in a Ziploc bag labeled with your cadet’s last name. Officers will hold onto the funds and release them during break times. Any change will be returned at the end of the event.

• Belongings will be supervised while cadets are walking through the airport. However, as this is a public space, it is highly recommended that valuables are left at home.

• Only screened volunteers of the Navy League of Canada are permitted to remain to supervise the cadets while they participate in this community service event for Remembrance Day.

• Ensure your cadet is dressed appropriately for the weather and the event. Full Cadet Uniform is the Rig of the day. Cadets are to keep their outdoor clothing with them should circumstances require them to move outside.

• Encourage your cadet to be respectful and courteous to the public while participating in the campaign.
